The Brief

To make an impressive high quality film capturing the unique atmosphere and acoustics of Buckfast Abbey and the new organ

The Approach

We lit the abbey to enhance the atmosphere with a teal and warm tungsten cinematic look. Coloured lights and smoke were used to further enhance the atmosphere. The organ console was placed in the middle of the abbey so the film displayed the musician and the instrument to it’s full. We did only two full musical takes to keep the live feel of the music.

It was used as part of German online festival then later released on YouTube to the public.
